If you are really interested you can check this list to find them listed with their net worth’s. My interest was something slightly different. What they represent in today society ? How powerful are they ? Are they really that rich or is it just an impression.

I used CIA GDP ppp ( purchasing power parity ) rankings to answer my question.

Answer is, …

Yes, … they are RICH. 793 billionaires net worth is bigger than GDP ppp for every single country excepting US, Japan, China and India. And among 230 countries their combined net worth of 2,6 trillion is bigger than the sum of GDP ppp in 167 world poorest countries. You can find those countries here.

On the other hand two billions live with less than 2 $ per day. According to UN 850 millions, live in conditions of hunger and extreme poverty.

You can see current GDP ppp chart above. It is obvious that USA is far ahead from China. Japan is currently third major economy in the world and India forth. You can see 2005 GDP real growth rates here. China real GDP growth rate is 9,2 %, USA 3,5 % and so on. I applied those rates and results are astonishing.

So if major economies will grow approximately with 2005 real GDP growth rates for next ten years than in 2015 China and India together will have more than 50 % biggest GPD than USA.  China will be biggest economy in the world and India will be third. And according to all predictions that is most likely scenario.

Average global temperature is rising there is no doubt about that. You can see that in the next chart.

Big question is why. Changes in global temperature were there throughout entire human history. What is different in this warming episode ?

You can see that level of CO2 in atmosphere rose during industrial revolution. Today level of CO2 is biggest in last 30 million years. That’s right. Million years. CO2 is damaging Earth because of so called greenhouse effect. CO2 emissions from burning fossil fuels or from deforestation trap heat that would othervise escape from Earth. You are probably questioning yourself what has this to do with global warming. Answer is here :

You can see almost perfect correlation between CO2 levels and average global temperature. Now imagine current CO2 levels ( 380 ) in chart and you will have explanation for recent extreme weather recently on Earth. We humans broke trend which was millions years old and consequences are here. Some are :

-rising seas

-changes in rainfall patterns

-increased likelihood of extreme events ( floods, hurricanes, … )

-loss of plankton due to warming seas

-widespread vanishing of animal populations

-bleaching of coral reefs due to warming sea

-acidification due to carbonic acid formation

-melting of the ice caps

Oil is traditionally traded at New York’s NYMEX and the London’s International Petroleum Exchange (IPE), even though both of them are effectively owned by the Americans. And this is making tremendous demand for USA dollars. Global oil industry is heavy around 1000 billions USA dollars per year. Since USA trade deficit is 500 billions dollars per year this is great luck them, otherwise they wouldn’t be able to finance that through foreign debt.

Untill 2000 you had to buy oil with USA dollars. If you didn’t have them you had to buy dollars and then buy oil. But you were able to buy oil only with dollars. Saddam Husein’s original sin was his announcment in 2000 that he will and he did sell his oil to € instead in dollars. The same thing is happening now with Hugo Chavez and Venezuela. But Venezuela is small and doesn’t have huge impact on world demand for USA dollars through oil. But Iraq does.

First thing USA did after invasion into Iraq – they changed selling of Iraquian oil back to USA dolars. That’s right no more Euros for oil.

Then USA corporations made 100 billions dollars profit this year in Iraq. All together since the beginning of the war USA corporations made 215 billions $ profits in Iraq.

This were two original reasons for invasion into Iraq. Combine that with the fact that global excess oil capacity is almost zero. That means political control over big oil producer country is very important. Sure Saddam Hussein was criminal and Iraq was not democratic country but that weren’s true reasons.

Iran will open Oil bourse ( with only € as currency ) this year and that will make huge problems for USA. That’s the reason USA will be soon probably looking for “weapons of mass destructions” also in Iran. Because if something like this happens than you should start selling your dollars today. USA administration is aware of that and they will do anything to stop Iranian oil exchange market to start workning next month.

From economic point of view, should the Iranian Oil Bourse open in March, the collapsing dollar will dramatically accelerate U.S. inflation and will pressure upward U.S. long-term interest rates. At this point, the Fed will have to choose between deflation and hyperinflation—it will be forced either to take its “classical medicine” by deflating, whereby it raises interest rates, thus inducing a major economic depression, a collapse in real estate, and an implosion in bond, stock, and derivative markets, with a total financial collapse, or alternatively, by inflating.

Since lessons from history are devastating for USA as far as deflation is concerned hyperinflation is much more possible consequence. By that FED could destruct American currency and from its ashes will rise the next reserve currency of the world— gold.

Something has to be very wrong. Reaction of muslim world could have been predicted since relationship between westeren world and muslim world has hit lowest point even before first cartoon drawing.

Therefore i understand rage, however I do not support violence.

I also think cartoons are just something to blame. Since West is exploiting resources in Muslim world ( invasion of USA into Iraq ) mulsim world reaction can be undersood.

Aliens find Earth and they are looking our lifestyle and infiltrate among us. One of their observations is that there are wars going on among nations. They notice that biggest single country USA is accounted for majority of ongoing wars. Mainly because they need resources for their economy ( control over oil and a stable currency )

Stats are mind-blowing.

4,5 % of world population lives in USA but they produce 25 % of world pollution. They have biggest stockpile of weapons of mass destruction in the world, and they are the only country in the world that made invasion into independent country recently. This 4,5 % of world population is drinking bottled water that is more expansive than gas. However they import more than 90 % of oil and are consuming  25 % of world’s oil production.

Back to the opening thought.

They look at the list of military expenditures and find out that USA military spending is enormous, almost like the rest of the world together.

My question is – WHO do you think is terrorist in their opinion.
